There is a difference between those who work through their pain and those who don't.  It is important to face your grief and accept where you are in the grief process for healthy healing to occur.  The counselors at Front Range Counseling Center help you understand the phases of grief, and assist you in exploring and understanding feelings you are experiencing as you deal with loss.

We will help you identify all the misinformation and myths you have learned about grief. Identifying these myths will help you begin to understand why it has been difficult for you to heal using the tools you currently have.  We will help you to confront all the myths about grief work and to challenge your unhealthy beliefs that add to your confusion and pain.

Our program at Front Range Counseling Center is designed to give you the information necessary to move through the grief process.  Please know you do not have to go through your grief alone.  Get the help you need.

We will not tell you:

"We know how you feel."

We will not say:

"You should be grateful that you had them for so long."

You will not hear us tell you:

"Now you know they wouldn't have wanted you to feel this way"

And we will never leave you with:

"You should be over it by now."

We will support you through your grieving process by helping you understand your grief.

We will acknowledge that we live in a society that fears change and does not embrace the grieving process.

We will never place judgment on you or your grief
